Free.Bible exists to be the cleanest, fastest, most respectful way to read and compare the Bible online. Scripture deserves careful typography and quiet pages — not banner ads, popups, or upsells.

Everything here is built on public-domain translations: texts that belong to everyone. You can read them, quote them, print them, and republish them without asking permission. The site’s own data is open too — see the developer documentation.

What you can do here

What we don’t do

• No advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate links.
• No accounts, cookie banners, or analytics trackers.
• No paywalls — there is no “premium” version of the Bible.

Reading preferences and your last-read position are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and never leave your device.
